The high-performance ceramic zirconia has excellent properties. It is extremely stable and even large-span bridges can be made with this material. Zircon ceramic is translucent and has comparable light transmission properties, just like natural teeth.

Combination restorations – with telescopic crowns

Telescopic crowns are used when a removable denture without visible metal clasps is desired. Clasps also have the disadvantage that they can damage and loosen the remaining teeth in the long run. Telescopic crowns therefore simultaneously protect the remaining teeth and give the prosthesis a firm and very secure hold.

Due to the fit of the telescopic crowns, the denture slides into its desired position in the mouth and thus obtains a firm and secure fit. This prosthesis can also be easily extended in case of further tooth loss and does not require a completely new prosthesis.

In addition, telescopic dentures or bridges can very often be done without a disturbing palatal plates or metal braces, which offers excellent comfort.

The prosthesis can be removed for cleaning with a brush. However, it should otherwise be worn continuously.
